Trinity Church (The First Congregational Church of Waltham) is an active church, with a congregation made up of all ages; families and singles, students and retirees.

We currently have a membership of about 100 with a typical Sunday attendance of 40-50. Our traditional Congregational service offers preaching, reflective prayers, and uplifting music.

Our church history is an integral part of the roots of New England and celebrated its 175th anniversary in 1995.

Our Christian Education program is growing in leaps and bounds. It offers education through its Church school which is provided for children from two years old through senior high.

Congregationalism came to America with the Pilgrims in 1620. Its church government, both spiritual and temporal, is not subject to any other religious or ecclesiastical body. Trinity Church's bylaws state that we are a free, independent, and self-governing church.

Our Mission Statement
Adopted in 1997

The mission of the Trintiy Church is threefold:
To worship and to serve God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit;
To proclaim the gospel of our Lord, Jesus Christ, in the words and actions of our daily living;
To bring all people into Christian discipleship through faith, hope, and love.
